I got an email from the Expose promoting an article titled
“Bill Gates Suddenly Abandons Climate Doom Narrative”.
I had a look at it. The promoted quote was
“No temperate country is going to become uninhabitable”.
The Expose can be unreliable - looked to check - found the quote in-context in The New York Times:
“There’s very limited money for causes to reduce inequity in the world. And no temperate country is going to become uninhabitable.”
Instead, he said, he is taking a more pragmatic approach and drawing a line at untested remedies like planting a trillion trees.
“Are we the science people or are we the idiots?” he said. “Which one do we want to be?”
The New York Times can also be unreliable, but overlooking that for now…
I want to examine that bit about the trees. I would’ve thought that trees are the natural responders to excess carbon dioxide, if you think there’s excess, and if you want it removed. Nature’s solution, if you like. But Bill thinks he would be an idiot to do that.
Instead, Bill prefers to invest his scarce philanthropic climate dollars in the ‘tested remedy’ of growing vat-produced breastmilk in genetically engineered mammary cells for climate.
Because Bill is a science person, not an idiot.
The fact Bill Gates considers himself a science person proves he is an idiot.
…and other untested 'remedies' like blocking out the sun. Bill is a psychopath first and foremost.
